While sewing her first baby blanket, owner and mom Dayna Brooks, a former world traveler, struck on a way to make staying at home with her newborn Jacob a workable venture that would put her family first. After a sewing lesson from mom, she created the first of many unique mommy and baby products to come. Within three months, Dayna, ever the entrepreneur sold more than 100 tender, snuggly blankets and started up the trendy Baby Jake's, named after her firstborn son.

Dayna lives happily with her husband and biggest fan Chuck, and their two munchkins Jacob 4, and Luke 2, the never ending inspirations and personal product testers for her creative designs.
