At Mommies N' Style we understand that preparing for and having a new baby can be a stressful and joyous time. I want your experience at Mommies N' Style to be as hassle free as possible. Exchanges and Returns: If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, please notify Mommies N' Style within 10 business days of receiving your order. All returns must have prior authorization. You may reach us by email at: info@mommiesnstyle.com. You have 30 days* from your purchase date to return your item to us for a refund. If you fail to notify Mommies N' Style of your desire to return or replace your purchase within the 10 business day window, or if Mommies N' Style suspects an item that you have returned has been used, your merchandise will be shipped back to you at your expense. Upon receipt of your approved return, Mommies N' Style will either issue a refund for the purchase price of your item(s) to the original form of payment used for your purchase or ship the item you have selected in exchange. There are no returns, exchanges or credit after 30 days from receiving your order*. Shipping costs cannot be refunded by Mommies N' Style. All shipping charges are the customer's responsibility. Please note that if you received free shipping on the original sale, and the item is returned, you will receive a refund with the actual shipping costs taken out. We do not mark up our retail costs to offer the shipping discount shipping when we mail your order out initially, so we simply refund you all but our original shipping costs instead of charging a restocking fee as many companies do in order to prevent us from losing money on the sale. If you instead decide to do an exchange we apply your full purchase price toward your exchange and no shipping costs are retained. Insurance and tracking are recommended as we are not responsible for packages lost in transit to our return address. A few important details in order to get your refund (if your return does not meet the criteria below, it may not qualify for a full refund): - *We understand that life as a mommy can get a little hectic and there are times when the 30 day time frame just doesn't work out. If you are unable to return your item within 30 days, just let us know. We will be happy to issue your refund in the form of store credit.
- ALL Returns should be new**, in the original packaging (DVD's must still be shrink wrapped) with any tags attached and free of any cigarette smoke, stains, or odors. (**Slings are an exception, please read below for details).
- Your refund will be credited back to your original form of payment. If you received free shipping on the original sale, and the item is returned, you will receive a refund with the actual shipping costs taken out.
- If your purchase is found to have a defect, I will be sure you get your item replaced. However, please contact me before returning the item. The item will need to be sent directly to the manufacturing company so we will need to provide you with this information.
- If you send an item back, we recommend insuring your package and purchasing delivery confirmation so that you can be assured that it has safely arrived. Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit. If you wish to send something back via UPS or FedEx, our address is will work fine, there is always someone there to sign for delivery
- If your item was a gift, you will receive Mommies N' Style store credit for your returned item(s).
- There are a few select items that need to be returned to the manufacturing company rather than to Mommies N' Style. These few exceptions are listed below for your convenience.
- A few of our items are not eligible for return. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to see what products cannot be returned.
*We are unable to accept returns or exchanges for the following items: All Nursing Pads and Nursing Pillows All panties All custom made Diaper/Handbags/Wet bags Nipple Butter and Belly BalmLighten my labor products (unless new and unopened) Face and Body care (Beaute de Maman) All custom made items or personalized items including custom hair accessories The Peanut Shell Hospital Gowns The following companies prefer to handle returns/exchanges directly or have slightly different return time frame: LilyPadz: In the rare event of a product flaw, I will be happy to see that you get a replacement if the company determines your particular problem is due to a defect or flaw. The following items have an extended return window or slightly different return policy: Slings and Baby Carriers: If you find that you need a different size, simply follow the info above for exchanges. If you are not sure what size you need, feel free to contact us or the company that makes your slings directly for sizing help. New Slings: Mommies N' Style will accept returns of new, unwashed carriers up to 30 days past the date of purchase. If the sling is for a pregnant mommy or is a baby shower gift it may be exchanged for another size, print, or style or maybe returned for a Mommies N' Style store credit within 30 days from the baby's date of birth. (The sling must still be in the original packaging and tags must still be attached and we will extend the exchange/return to be within 30 days from the baby's birth date rather than date of purchase). Please keep in mind that many children may need a few rides in their new sling to get accustom to it, especially if they are older. Often children will adjust after being in the sling for few times. If it is new for them, you may wish to have their first few rides be during a time when they are well rested and fed. This will help increase the chances of initial success. Put your child in your sling and start moving! It is often your movement while carrying them in the sling that begins to calm them and make them feel right at home in their new carrier! If you are having trouble adjusting to your new sling we would also suggest calling the company that makes your sling and speaking with the customer service department to see if they can help provide you with some helpful suggestions or tips. Returns for Drop Ship Items: All drop ship items must be returned to the manufacturer at buyer expense and will be subject to a 10% re-stocking fee. Shipment Refusal: Customers who refuse to accept delivery of any order will be held responsible for all postage and handling fees associated with the delivery. Price Matching: We think our prices are awesome, but if you happen to find the exact item somewhere else, send us an email with a link to the site. We will match any regular retail price (with their shipping cost included). If it is a special sale or clearance item we will still do our best to meet the price, but depending on the price, this cannot be guaranteed. |
