Hanna Westwood is a native Oregonian with a penchant for art and design that dates back to her youth. At eight years old, while living on a sailboat with her dad, Hannah started her first jewelry business. Collecting shells from which she made earrings and necklaces, and sold them to make extra money for the summer.

Hanna attended the University of Oregon where she received a BS in Psychology. After graduating she spent 4 years selling Pharmaceuticals as a means for income while she practiced art and design in her spare time.

Knowing her heart was not in Pharmaceuticals, she attended the Portland Art Institute where she studied apparel design with an emphasis on maternity wear. While studying and finding her niche, she made custom jewelry for friends and family, but was soon picked up by local boutiques around the Portland area. She successfully designed and sold custom jewelry for 4 years before becoming pregnant with her first child, daughter Ryan Westwood.

With a new baby girl in the house, Hannah and her husband Chadd knew it was time for her to set up a full-time business out of their home. With her love of the pregnant figure and her understanding of the never-ending question: "when are you due," she couldn't resist designing a necklace for women to show off their blooming bellies and announce their due-date in style.
